Against all the doom and gloom in the news it’s really easy to let your ambitions for your business shrink down. Instead of looking at what you want to be making, you start thinking about what the minimum is you need – and no more.
There are a whole host of reasons why it would be completely understandable to opt for scarcity at the moment.
We’re scared. We’re fed up.
But the biggest thing you can do to care for yourself at the moment is to not let scarcity win. It won’t help you feel better day to day. It won’t help you achieve what you want to in your business.
Don’t shrink your goals down because of things out of your control.
Make sure that you’re focused on doing the most important things. You need to understand what will drive your business forward strategically in 2022 because this is not the moment to be doing all the things and spreading yourself really thin. You don’t have the time or the energy to do that.
With corporate B2B sales, you don’t need to have a finger in every pie and be trying 20 different strategies all at once.
You need to know what your financial goal is for your business – and I don’t just mean what you need to survive. You need to know what you WANT to be making from your consulting business.
Once you have this clearly defined, set about having conversations with people in your network and prospective clients until you have the amount of money you want signed off and in your pipeline ready for delivery.
And let me know, what are you focusing on in your business this year?
Free Report – The Six Elements of a Seven Figure Consulting Business
I’ve created a free PDF report called The Six Elements of a Seven Figure Business. It’s my most popular free resource and in it I outline the 6 areas of unscaled businesses that need to change in order to move past being ‘booked up and burned out’ and shifting into that higher gear that gets you cruising again.
It’s the framework that helps consultant women like you find their feet and get back to leading the business, rather than being buried in client work and back-end business operations.
Thanks for reading! I’d love to hear your feedback and future topics you’d like me to feature. You may also enjoy The Seven Figure Consultant Podcast, the show that takes you from booked up and burned out in your consulting business to THRIVING as the CEO of your 7 figure enterprise.
