Making decisions in your business can feel REALLY hard. They are relentless.
I was so overwhelmed when I started my business because so much of the time it just felt like it was decision after decision after decision. What colour should the business cards be? How do I know what my brand is yet? What are my services and how do I package and price them? All of the start-up type decisions.
Then there are decisions like, ‘what do I say to this email?’ Which accountant should I go for? Which tools do I need behind the scenes to run everything?
It can feel like there’s a never-ending stream of decisions that need making.
And then there are the ones that you put off making because you genuinely don’t know what to do. Something is broken or you know what outcome you’re looking for but you don’t know how to achieve it.
Sometimes we get the intersection of our own personal mindset disasters and some action that needs taking, so we just freeze and do nothing. You have a great idea to reach out to someone so you get their contact details but then sit on it and find yourself stalling and procrastinating. We really can be so resourceful when it comes to NOT doing the things we say we want to do.
And lastly, we can also end up in a situation where we’re constantly changing course. This can be our service offering, our niche, our brand, our prices – name any part of your business and it is so easy to keep second-guessing ourselves and chopping and changing.
If you don’t feel clear on how to make good decisions in your business, there are a multitude of holes you can find yourself falling into.
Being the CEO of your consulting business is probably one of the biggest personal development journeys you will ever go on. When you are the CEO of your consulting business, everything you end up doing comes down to what you are choosing to say yes to.

Free Report – The Six Elements of a Seven Figure Consulting Business
I’ve created a free PDF report called The Six Elements of a Seven Figure Business. It’s my most popular free resource and in it I outline the 6 areas of unscaled businesses that need to change in order to move past being ‘booked up and burned out’ and shifting into that higher gear that gets you cruising again.
It’s the framework that helps consultant women like you find their feet and get back to leading the business, rather than being buried in client work and back-end business operations.
